Our Local Governing Body (LGB)
We are extremely lucky to have such an active and involved set of individuals on our Local Governing Body. They make a valuable contribution to children’s education, opportunities and futures. The governing board provides strategic leadership and accountability in schools. It has three key functions:
1. Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent
2. Holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils
3. Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
Please see below a list of our current governors and the meeting dates for 2022/23 and 2023/24.
If you are considering to become a governor please visit The National Governors Association where you will find out more information.
